ABOUT KAITLIN
I’m a boudoir photographer with a deep-seated passion for capturing the beauty and complexity of the human experience. Born and raised in a small town, I grew up alongside four siblings, which instilled in me a strong sense of family and a keen understanding of diverse perspectives. These formative years shaped my view of the world and contributed to the unique approach I bring to my photography.
I’m now a proud parent to a little girl and share my life with my husband and six beloved pets. My household is a lively mix of personalities, and it’s this blend of love and chaos that fuels my creativity and passion for my work.
My journey into boudoir photography began during a time when the genre was still considered taboo. I was drawn to it not just because it sounded intriguing, but because I saw an opportunity to challenge societal norms and explore the transformative power of self-expression. Over time, I’ve witnessed firsthand the profound impact boudoir photography can have on individuals.
For many, boudoir sessions are not just about capturing alluring images; they are a powerful tool for healing and self-discovery. I’ve seen how this art form helps people navigate and overcome trauma, such as sexual assault, by reclaiming their sense of self and empowerment. It’s incredibly moving to witness individuals facing body dysmorphia and self-doubt find renewed confidence and self-love through their photos.
Boudoir photography also serves as a medium for personal exploration. It allows people to step outside their comfort zones, embrace their vulnerabilities, and celebrate their unique beauty. The changes I see in my clients—both physical and emotional—are nothing short of extraordinary. They often leave the session not just with stunning images, but with a newfound appreciation for themselves and a deeper connection to their own identity.
My love for the spooky and the weird plays a significant role in my work. It’s this fascination with the unconventional and the mystical that infuses my sessions with a unique flair and allows me to create images that are not only beautiful but also resonate on a deeper, more personal level. It’s a reminder that beauty and self-worth come in many forms, and embracing our quirks and imperfections is part of what makes us truly remarkable.
In essence, my career is more than just a profession; it’s a calling. It’s about more than just taking pictures—it’s about making a difference in people’s lives, helping them see themselves in a new light, and celebrating the diverse beauty that each individual brings to the world. Watching the transformations unfold, both physically and emotionally, reaffirms my commitment to this craft and fuels my passion for the art of boudoir photography.
